My beautiful dog, Harlo, was quite elderly and showing signs of deteriorating. I wanted to capture some last nice memories of him, but he hates cameras and would pull awful faces and poses if I tried to photograph him. I'm Veronica (Ronnie to many), pet photographer and founder of Truffle Photo. From an early age, I've had a gentle connection with all kinds of animals and that's only grown with me. I love being around them, getting their kisses, cuddles, nuzzles and pecks and all the ways they communicate with us, and I love bringing out their unique beauty and character in photographs.
